sara currently studies illustration at the university of the arts in philadelphia, and looks forward to earning her bfa degree in may of 2010.

she grew up in chester county, pennsylvania, and enjoys airports, tiny things, peonies, baking, and lepidopterology. when not drawing, embroidering, or taking photographs, she works as an educator at the academy of natural sciences in philadelphia, teaching visitors about butterflies, moths, and other insects.
